"This buisness used to be amazing but since the new management came the portion sizes have decreased the price has increased and the quality has also dropped, I used to come here regularly but I won't come back again now."
"Authentic! We stumbled across this little outlet on the first floor of the Orchid Plaza Shopping Centre. The handmade dumplings in the display case looked so good that we ordered a serve. They were delicious so we ordered a Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup). The broth was fragrant and spicy and the beef brisket was tender - authentic Vietnamese flavour at a reasonable price!"
"I just experienced the worst meal i have ever eaten! Admittedly I was in a hurry and was comming off an 18 hour fast, i was desperate to eat and i knew that Yummy noodle had pre prepared meals to go. When i opened the packet the meal smelled, I am unsure what the smell was, it could have been fish sauce. There was half a boiled egg in it which i ate ( praying it doesn't make me sick as it tasted very odd ). I took the meal home and even my hysband who eats everything commented by saying the meal looked terrible, he removed the lid, took a whiff and looked at me, he tasted the meal and then put the lid back on it and walked away, as the saying goes, actions speak louder than words. Never again!"
"I was extremely hungry at around 4pm after diving when most of other places were not open, which was basically the only reason I ate here. As a vegan, I asked for the vegan menu and ordered fried rice with vegetables as recommended in the review on HappyCow and it was the biggest mistake I made that day. When the lady served the rice I immediately spotted fried egg in it and I asked “Is that an egg”? She said: “He (the guy who took my order) said egg’s OK.” Hearing this, the guy came out and asked me: ”No egg?” I said, sorry, vegans don’t eat eggs. He took the rice back without saying anything, not apologetic at all. The lady started making me a new one. I then realized they put egg, tofu and chili as choices to go with everything on the vegan menu. Egg on the vegan menu! This guy doesn’t understand vegan at all apparently. He didn’t check with me which of the three I would like to have in the fried rice, instead, he just decided for me that “Egg’s OK”. The second rice arrived. This time there was no egg, nor tofu or chili. Again he decided for me that I didn’t want any of the three. That was fine if the rice tastes OK. But there were big chunks of white rice and some sort of seasoning not well broken down. I had to spit it out. And it was way too oily. As much as I hate to waste food, I just couldn’t finish it. After eating that rice, I felt so thirsty for the rest of the day, you know that kind of feeling you got when you eat something cooked with a lot of bad seasoning such as MSG. I had to drink so much water, which barely helped. I don’t like writing negative feedbacks, but these people need to do it properly. You can’t provide a vegan menu but still think “Egg’s OK”."
