Reviews of Shailer Pioneer Park
"Great park, has rope swing, tennis courts, well maintained BBQ and toilets facilities and play ground. A nice walking trail around the lagoon with lots of wild life. On the day we were there a live band was jamming out some tunes"
"My little man had a blast at the park Has scooter/skatepark, a basketball court and 2 tennis courts. Lovely barbecue area, also has multiple toilets. Plenty of shade and grass area for kids to play or have a picnic. Very nice quiet park very lovely scenery."
"Perfect for our family BBQ. Plenty for kids to do. They especially loved the climbing dome and the flying fox. I think additional tables and BBQs would probably be a good idea for the amount of people that use the area."
"Lovely little park hidden in Shailer Park. Between the little duck pond, kids play area, a lovely grassed area, tennis & basketball courts and skatepark, there is plenty for everyone. There is toilets on site for public use & 2 separate tennis courts. I didn't take photos of the skatepark as 2 young families were using them at the time. The kids play area has some older tired looking equipment & some obvious newer installed ones. There is a lovely painted mural as you drive in. I missed the entry to a larger carpark but managed to get a carpark before the residential parking area for private property."
"Beautiful and a huge park with plenty of activities available for kids so they don’t get bored. In this park, council has made below courts which makes a weekend well spent for people who are into sports. 1. Well built Tennis courts 2. Well built basket ball court 3. Skate area On top of this, it has lots of playground areas for kids including; 1. Rides 2. Swings 3. Riding animals And also there is a picnic place and dog play ground area as well. The Tennis courts and Basket ball courts have strong lights which are allowed to be used between 5AM to 10 PM. It is normally crowded however council has requested that give the court to people who are waiting for 30 minutes so everyone gets to play. Huge parking area available and also amenities. Overall 5 star experience. Great job by Council. Thanks. Please like my review if it was helpful or suggest improvements if you would like me to change some comments."
