Coyote Tuning

"I took in my 86 for a simple logbook service. When I dropped it off they asked if the apprentice could watch the supervisor complete the service. I reluctantly obliged. When I picked my car up I could smell a strong petrol smell, checked under the fuel tank and it was leaking everywhere because they hadn’t even sealed it properly! Was a terrible experience because they didn’t even have the parts on hand too and clearly the apprentice did the service and didn’t know what he was doing! Never going here again, they’ve gone downhill!"

"Avoid avoid avoid! This shop ripped me off. The tune they provided was so unsatisfactory, it made other tuning shops laugh. The tuning error made the start up horrendously bad. Yes, I took it back and no it wasn't made better at all. The install of my turbo. Wow, where do I start? Installed incorrectly, pressing up against pipes and damaging tubes and parts. Damaged front bumper with install and left front bumper hanging off on both sides with significant clearance, saying, "we're not fabricators..." The turbo was tuned to 14psi, when they told me it would be 9, then after install, told me it was 12. The actual driving experience with turbo was horrible. Sputtery, really unsmooth drive. Horrible really. The difference between their tune and another shops was night and day. Literally more than twice as good. The tune was so had that it repeatedly turned on all of my engine lights. Brought it back twice (had to tow vehicle as it was performing so badly) and they had the vehicles for over 2 months!!! They said they couldn't figure out the problem. I took it to another shop, problem was fixed in ONE DAY. It was a tuning 101 problem. Baby day 1 tuners could have figured out the problem. Call them, email them, ask for a refund, only going to have issues. They have been refusing to answer OFT about this. I will be taking them to court and my legal team has all of the evidence they need already. They will learn that refusing to reimburse your customer for dodgy work will end up costing them far more than a simple dyno tune refund. Apparently they have new owners, so can't speak for previous reviews - but avoid this company like the plague."

"Booked in my Ute for a tune, ended up having to cancel it due to them not being able to supply parts on the date booked in and without paying an extra $1500 up front, which wasn’t agreed upon the time of the deposit. I called them and requested a refund as they were stuffing me around with pricing on parts, they lied about depositing the money back into my account multiple times, I even stood at the counter on separate weeks and requested the refund in person, they lied again and said they deposited the money, another couple of weeks went by I rang fair trading and they informed me they have other similar disputes. Finally 1.5 months later I received the refund, after trying to call them and drive to them every day, came up with so many excuses. Even a manager said they were having money troubles for whatever reason. This cause me a lot of stress Be very careful if you need to put a deposit down honestly the worst business I have ever dealt with, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS FOR ANYTHING, VERY UNTRUSTWORTHY.!!!!"

"Took my sons car in here for a couple of mods & dyno run the 1st experience wasn't so great was asked to bring it in Monday morning so dropped the car off and then got a call couple hours later saying parts hadnt arrived can I come pick car up so a waste of a day in time petrol tolls etc no discount at all was giv'n. 2nd experience was much better."

"Had lowering springs installed on my 86 on Monday and the team at Coyote Tuning was very accommodating and kept me up to date on the progress. I'm happy as it was done perfectly. I've done a few kms of spirited driving, no issues. I will be back again for more mods."
