Our counselling centres provide safe and supportive environments for in-person consultations, as well as telehealth services for those who prefer remote sessions. We prioritize the highest level of respect, care, and safety for our clients. It is important to note that every member of our team is a committed Christian, although we acknowledge and respect the diversity of beliefs, views, and practices of our clients.

Reducing barriers to accessing professional support is one of our core values. Therefore, we have designed our fees to be affordable and accessible based on individual circumstances. Our goal is to ensure that everyone can receive the support they need without financial burdens.

Gateway Counselling has an expanding multidisciplinary team consisting of counsellors, psychologists, social workers, mental health social workers, clinical supervisors, and naturopaths. We are equipped to provide professional clinical supervision, support for student counsellors, and assistance to chaplains, pastors, and other ministry or agency support workers.

Barry Morris, a registered psychologist at Gateway Counselling, shares his passion for mental health, people, and Jesus. He believes that our centre is a practical and professional expression of Christ's love and compassion. Our team is dedicated to meeting clients where they are at, providing acceptance, encouragement, and support for positive change. Each practitioner values the uniqueness and potential of every client, addressing not only their mental health needs but also their practical, relational, and spiritual well-being.

All consultations at Gateway Counselling are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment at our Ormeau, Mackenzie, or Redlands locations, please call 07 3291 5963 during our opening hours. Our friendly reception staff will discuss our affordable fee options with you, based on your individual circumstances. If your sessions are being paid for by a third party, please inform our reception team.

Payment for consultations is required upon arrival at the centre, and we accept EFTPOS, credit card, and cash as payment options. We kindly request that you notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your appointment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment will incur a cancellation fee.
