"Slow service. Meals took over 40 minutes and the restaurant was just over half full. Prices are okay and you get a decent serve. Chips are always fresh and hot."
"Often call in for coffee light snack whilst shopping for plants. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. If you don't mind sharing it with a few lizards of sorts kids love it."
"Despite what their website says you DO HAVE TO BOOK even if it's just 2 of you. My friend and I went for brunch and were allocated a table that was reserved but we had plenty of time. Really lovely place with nice staff and very nice food. A bit noisy though. Why do we all have to shout at one another. Despite the awful din, my friend and I just spoke in our normal voices. Plus the is a Pee Wee couple who like to fly in and have a gander. They never land on you or your table. Back of a chair maybe. Lovely little birds. What do you expect in a nursery as good as Nielsen's?"
"I have visited several times & didn't realise I haven't done a review yet. From the beginning to the end, great service by all staff. Considering I visited on Easter Monday, they accommodated my guest & I. Service was speedy, both in ordering & receiving both coffee & meal quickly. I also ordered a take-home slice of the hazelnut torte and was advised they would pop it in the fridge ready to go once I had finished. It does adjoin to a nursery where they also do pat & play experiences with sting rays & sharks, which I have previously done and was such a rewarding time. I ordered a coffee which was nice but not one of the best I have had. Again, I'm not a coffee connoisseur so this could be a me thing. I ordered the sweet French toast & was torn over that or the savoury. I guarantee you when that came out I just took in the biggest smell of it and it was delicious. I would definitely return, although groups are requested to book a table."
