Welcome to Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS), located at Moolap, Portarlington Road, 325. GAWS is an establishment and a point of interest that is dedicated to the welfare and care of animals in the Geelong area and beyond.

When you register with GAWS, you will have your own account to manage your registration information. This allows you to easily update your details if needed.

One of our highlights is our annual calendar, which features heartwarming images and stories of 13 GAWS graduates living their happily ever after. These beautiful moments are captured by our community, and the proceeds from the calendar sales go towards caring for the animals at GAWS.

GAWS receives thousands of animals into our care each year and we have over 200 animal pens onsite. By becoming an annual sponsor, you can directly support the animals in your chosen pen. Your sponsorship helps cover the costs of veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, and all the care they need during their stay with us.

In the past year alone, we have given more than 2,200 animals a second chance through our adoption program. Our dedicated team of highly skilled vets and nurses are passionate about providing affordable and quality animal care for Geelong and our neighboring communities.
