Welcome to Boost Boxing & Fitness, located at 29-31 Durgadin Drive in Albion Park Rail, Australia. We are not your typical gym - we are a unique establishment that combines the art of boxing with a focus on overall health and wellness.
Our approach to teaching boxing is unlike any other. We follow a syllabus similar to martial arts, consisting of 8 different progressions. Whether you are a beginner with no experience or a competitive amateur boxer, our classes are designed to cater to all skill levels.
Boxing is a full-body sport that is not only a great way to achieve your fitness goals but also makes you feel your best. Our classes are fun and incorporate all aspects of physical fitness, including strength, cardio, balance, movement, and agility.
But boxing is more than just a physical workout - it also has numerous mental health benefits. Punching helps release aggression, the movements require focus, the drills improve resilience, and overall it relieves stress and boosts confidence.
At Boost Boxing & Fitness, we pride ourselves on fostering a sense of community and friendship. We encourage social connections among our growing client base from all parts of the Illawarra region. In addition to our boxing classes, we offer a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) conditioning class. This cardio-based workout utilizes a range of boxing drills and techniques to improve cardiovascular fitness. It's a great way to burn calories and improve boxing-specific fitness.
For those looking to learn boxing from the ground up, we have a specialized class that focuses on technique. We have developed a boxing syllabus, similar to the grading system in martial arts, using colored wraps. This class involves shadow boxing, partner drills, and specific boxing conditioning to enhance your technique.
We also offer a class that combines boxing technique with cardio exercises to improve these skills. Through a range of drills and exercises specific to boxing, you can enhance your technique and improve your fitness level.
For teenagers between the ages of 12 and 18, we have a class that focuses on technique and cardio. This class is designed to help teenagers improve their boxing technique and fitness through fun drills and exercises.
For children between the ages of 5 and 12, we have a boxing class that combines technique and cardio. This class is a great way for kids to improve their boxing skills and overall fitness through enjoyable drills and exercises.
If you prefer a more personalized approach, we offer one-on-one personal training sessions with Steven Anton. Steven will create a dedicated and tailored program to help you reach your fitness goals faster.
