"Do NOT go to this pharmacy when there are other friendly pharmacies in the area who DO demonstrate a duty of care! I had been going there for 3 years once a month. I am prescribed a psychotic medication that I can’t go without and is very important. I could see on the app I had 1 repeat left of my medication, I ordered it. Would never let myself get down to 0 repeats with no doctors appointment booked. Got a message saying they couldn’t fulfil my order as my script wasn’t valid. I called the store and got the rudest pharmacist I’ve ever dealt with. She couldn’t give me an answer as to why my last repeat couldn’t be used, just told me it wouldn’t work. I said I had a doctors appointment in 5 days, and could I please have an emergency supply for 4 days as I only had 1 nights worth left. I was told absolutely not with a medication “like that one”, I said they could even get confirmation from my doctors surgery that I did in fact have an appointment in 5 days, and that my doctor was not going to be back in the surgery until the day of my appointment so nothing could be done about it. The Terry white pharmacist said “I don’t know what you want me to say, I can’t release any medication to you, you’ll have to call up the doctor again or wait until your appointment, there’s nothing I can do for you, if the medication was this important you should’ve organised this earlier”. But I had an appointment booked with my doctor to get new scripts next week, as the app and paper script said I had 1 repeat left so I thought I was on time. There was nothing my doctors surgery could do for me as it was a Friday and there was only 1 doctor on whom I’d never seen before and they had no appointments. Terry white Sorell (at least this particular lady) have NO DUTY OF CARE!!! I was so distressed and couldn’t wait until I finished work, so I went to rosny Terry white as I work 5 minutes away from them, and even though I’d never been to that particular Terry white before, they were more than happy to give a me a WHOLE MONTHS supply of this medication!! Their words were “this is an important medication that you can’t just suddenly stop”. I was crying and in tears I was so grateful for what they did for me. If you’re going to go to Terry white, go ANYWHERE but Sorell!! Funny how a pharmacy I’ve never been to are willing to help me but my regular pharmacy that I’ve been going to for years couldn’t have cared less!"

"I have always had great experiences when at the chemist, staff are lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately while at the chemist today after filling my script I was embarrassed and felt so disrespected by the Asian lady and I apologise as I do not know your name who rang my doctors to check up on a script and you had every right to do so, but the problem that I had with this is that you made that phone call at the the counter in front of everyone who was there. My privacy was compromised and I felt so disrespected, this was so unprofessional and unacceptable , you have a duty of care to all of your customers, do you not? My name was mentioned not once but twice, you could have asked me, or as I said that I did not have a problem with you ringing my doctor, but you had no right at all to do this in front of everyone that was in the chemist at the time. I am so disappointed with the disrespect that you had for me. You need to put into practice, your costumer service in the future."

"The pharmacists are amazing, so helpful and willing to get new meds into the pharmacy within 24 hours if it's an unusual medication. I've always been called by first name ( have no idea how they remember everyone) The pharmacy assistants are always friendly, helpful and always endeavour to answer questions and queries. A large range of services from vaccinations to Tattslotto. 9 times out of 10 one of the owners of this pharmacy is on duty. Best service in Tasmania from this Chemist."

The pharmacists are just the best. They are both highly professional and friendly at the same time. I have been going to this pharmacy for many years.
