"I and my daughter went to Geelong Star St, Second-hand uniform to get my kids school books. I gave the lists to the shop keeper (lady). She got me the books , I asked her "if she accepted health care card ". She said yes to me I asked her how much would i need to pay , she said nothing. She put the books aside for me. I went to have a look at the uniform when I went at the counter she asked me is that all what I needed, I said yes. The books was on the top of the counter bench. At first the maths book was in a really good condition and the code was not been used but their was a different maths book on the top a very old one with ripped off. I asked her is that the same book she said yes. I told her that the first book was in a good condition. She said because I'm getting those books on concession card so she change it to a different one , I asked her if the code has been activated she said yes. I told her my daughter won't be able to use this book. She said I can't give you all the fund in a very loud way in front of our customers. She said that twice. And told me if I went the good condition maths book I've to pay $20. I said I'm happy to pay the $20. She took the books to put it on the system. She was talking nicely to other customers because they were paying by there cards. But she was very bad to me , I told her I was hurt by the way she talk to me saying that she isn't going to give me all the fund and told her I've asked you to give me all the fund. Then I told her I will pay the full price of the books not on concession. She took the books from. A guy came I told him what happened I feel really, why she treated me bad because I'm using concession card to get the books or because I'm a Muslim and I'm wearing hijab. He told me " my wife doesn't talk like that and told me to get out from the shop and never come back again". I was in shock my daughter start crying in the car we were both shaking."
