"I had the most wonderful customer service experience last week from the team at Petals on the plaza. Angela the owner went above and beyond to make sure I received the arrangement of flowers that was for my Birthday after a failed attempt of delivery organised by family in New Zealand. Unfortunately they did not know I was going to be away for a long weekend. The delivery driver sent the arrangement back to the shop instead of just leaving them on my doorstep. I had organised to pick the flowers up from the shop on my return a few days later and when I did I was presented with a beautiful Fresh arrangement of flowers. What a lovely thought! I would highly recommend this florist if your looking for great customer service from Angela and her lovely staff."

"About 5 months ago I got a quote and booked in this florist for my wedding in 3 weeks time. I had paid the deposit in October last year and had everything sorted. 4 weeks before my wedding they called and let me know they had made a mistake on the quote and required me to pay an extra $500. All brides know that 4 weeks before a wedding money is tight, we tried to come to a compromise on how this could be sorted for both myself and the florist, however when this was suggest I received the worst and rudest treatment ever. I was accused of knowing that I was ripping them off, and that they were worried I was never going to pay. Along with these accusations they said that it wasn’t their fault and they did not have $500 to lose so either I pay or they will cancel my order. I let them know that I had paid a deposit and was given a quote for that price and it is the law to honour that. Especially considering it was over 4 months ago this order was placed. After all of the back and forth they said that they knew I was always going to be difficult and that i was giving them anxiety calling and talking to them about it (always very polite as I still needed flowers) Never ever have I received such appalling customer service. I would be ashamed to be the owner of this business."

"My husband lovingly bought me 12 long stem red roses as a surprise which sadly only lasted 1.5 days. I could see when he brought them home that they were older, but I didn’t say anything because I assumed he got them at a discounted rate. I know how to cut and maintain my flowers, but regardless of care, 1.5 days later they are lifeless, sad and dark. He told me he paid $150!!! When he told me this I felt outraged that someone could take advantage of an unknowing man. We do not recommend this florist at all. $150 is in the bin. Literally. Edit: *added photo of roses 2 days later* I didn't email or call because I don't want a replacement or credit - I don't trust the quality and skills of your store. I'm giving honest and live feedback which is the point of google reviews. This should never have happened in the first place, and clearly there is a theme in all of your reviews. Payment and store pick up was made on Friday the 20.1.23, and payment was in cash. Flowers of this quality shouldn't be sold as "fresh" or "high quality "."
