Taekidokai is a true martial art that is renowned for its dynamic flying and spinning kicks, as well as its impressive holds, throws, and locks. The name itself is derived from Japanese and translates to "Way of the body and spirit," reflecting the deep connection between physical and mental well-being.

Led by Sensei Rodney Day, a 7th dan black belt with over 45 years of martial arts experience, Taekidokai is a professionally run school that provides top-notch training. Sensei Day has a diverse background in various martial arts disciplines such as Budokan Karate, Goshinryu, Hapshinrya, Taekwondo, and Aikido. His expertise and unique understanding of Taekidokai are shared with instructors and students throughout Australia and New Zealand.

At Taekidokai, we value community and strive to create a welcoming environment for all. We invite all students to join us at the Flinders dojo for our exciting "SWARM" sessions. Additionally, we encourage you to bring along your friends for a free night of training, allowing them to experience the exhilaration of Taekidokai firsthand.

Our classes are held at 43 Durgadin Drive, Albion Park Rail, every Friday at 7:00 pm. Advanced sessions are available for senior red and black belts. Mark your calendars for our upcoming dates in 2023: August 4th and 18th, September 1st and 15th, September 29th, October 13th and 27th, and November 10th.

We are pleased to announce that Taekidokai now accepts the new Active Kids voucher, a program initiated by the NSW Government to promote physical activity among children. Starting from July 1st, families can utilize this voucher to encourage their kids to get active through our martial arts program.
