Located at the Innovation Way in North Wollongong, PACOP aims to address the palliative care needs of residents in aged care homes nationwide.

With approximately 60,000 people passing away each year in residential aged care homes, it is crucial to take immediate action to enhance the quality of care for those at the end of life. In response to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality & Safety, PACOP assists aged care homes and organizations in identifying, understanding, and addressing the palliative care needs of their residents. We achieve this by promoting the use of standardized outcomes assessments and tools, enabling timely responses based on the gathered information.

By providing a consistent and nationally-agreed framework, PACOP drives improvements in palliative and end-of-life care at the resident, provider, policy, and system levels.
