"Every now and then in life you come across a special person, place or experience, not that often do you have all three at the one time and Loughmore Cottage ticks all the boxes, History, Character, warmth and soul. Congratulations on creating such a lovely jewel in Kangaroo Valleys Crown. We wanted for nothing and were impressed from the time we arrived. Part of us want to brag how good this place is and another part wants to keep it a secret so we don’t have to share mmm I suppose we will brag ! Highly recommend this little gem!"

"Loughmore cottages is a fantastic place to stay for a cosy weekend getaway! The atmosphere of the settlers cottage is outstanding and unique! A great place to unwind, and read a book in front of a crackling log fire! Private, but near restaurants, shops and the local pub. Can also recommend the great outdoors of Kangaroo Valley we went on an interesting kayak journey down the river! Horse riding and great walks near the town. Loughmore cottages is affordable, and the owners are very attentive to detail. Highly recommend if you are looking for a country trip away only a few hours from Sydney."
"Wow, what a remarkable example of laughable customer service by the proprietor Christine Ramsay. I found this property through the site Stayz, it looked perfect for my planned weekend. As per the process of the site, I enquired via the online form and here's what followed: 1. Received an email from Christine the following morning, confirming availability and cost - so far so good. 2. Responded in the affirmative immediately. 'Great, thanks Christine, could I just check though...." insert question about property here. 3. Response received to question from Christine within two hours. My response verbatim here: "No worries Christine, I’ve checked with Steph and we’d still love to make the booking for the Passionfruit Cottage for the Saturday 11th please. How would you like me to do this, should I give you a call? Thanks, Laura" 4. Christine's response verbatim 2.5 hours later: "My sincere apologies, but another person has already booked and sent payment, so Passionfruit Cottage is no longer available this weekend. You could try the Kangaroo Valley Tourist Association accommodation. Regards, Christine" In a day and age of Facebook, Tripadvisor, Google reviews, etc I find it remarkable that small businesses, particularly B&Bs, in rural NSWs can be so complacent with customer service. I'm actually going to Kangaroo Valley this weekend to scope out a venue for my wedding. I had imagined I would love Loughmore cottages and would be booking out the place for my guests to stay in. Not anymore."
