"Honestly surprised to eat at - let alone choose - a Vietnamese restaurant in Kiama, of all places. The cha gio (spring rolls) and banh xeo (savoury pancake) were super delicious. The com chien (fried rice) was not great, but I'm not sure I've had Hanoi-style com chien to know what it should taste like. The atmosphere was a little more upscale but still casual enough to feel comfortable. I'd recommend this to my friends if we go to Kiama again."
"Accidently visited this restaurant because I was just walking down the street and did not expect much. But the restaurant had a very nice food. The taste was beyond my expectations! I would definitely come back here again."
"I got takeaway from here and ordered 2 dishes. I got the stir fried beef fillet with lemongrass and chili. There was no taste of chilli or lemongrass in this at all. It was very bland. I certainly wouldn't order that again. On the other hand, the green papaya salad with chicken and prawns had a beautiful flavour. I would recommend that. They added in a complimentary crisp flat bread that I had never tried before which was interesting."
"Was recommended to try as I was told it was one of the better restaurants in the area. Ordered the Hanoi spring rolls and Vietnamese pancake. Spring rolls were pretty bland by itself, and I was a little disappointed to see the prawns appear to be minced in. I suggest using the basil/mint and lettuce wrap it. Almost makes it worth the $15 price tag. The pancake was interesting. I've never had them before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The actual shell was delicious. I felt like I could eat a whole meal of it. Upon much closer inspection I was reminded that it actually came with chicken and prawns. I had no idea what to do with the greenery it came with. So I ended up just lettucing wrapping the whole joint. It didn't add much to the experience, other than realising my need to practice aiming food to my mouth. Overall it was a decent experience for an asian restaurant in a tourist town. Price point and service reflecting that. Would likely try some of the other offerings down the road."
"This place is awesome! Family owned and run, food is as traditional as you can get. Hanoi Spring rolls and the Vietnamese chicken and prawn pancake were delicious. My only gripe was that the Pho wasn’t gluten free. We’ll back to try more of their meals on our next camping trip to Kiama"
