Schnitz Armstrong Creek

"Very touch and go. I get food here quite frequently as it’s the closest schnitz to my house, and either have a decent experience or a horrible one. I always get schnitzel, chips, and I ask for lemon wedges on the side as I often can’t eat the schnitzel without them. There has been one time where I was given a good amount of lemon wedges, but every other time I have only been given one small piece of lemon or as today absolutely none. Wasn’t able to eat my food because of it, became inedible. Very disappointing."

"The poor staff were completely and utterly overrun this evening with orders and people waiting. My order was placed at 18:27 this evening and it was provided to me at nearly 19:15. There didn't seem to be any senior management around to help the staff. I overheard at least two people ask for a refund. The cashier said that she didn't actually know how to do it, so the customers were provided with the store manager's number. The store manager or owner looked to have guided the cashier through how to process a refund using a customer's phone. The staff were extremely apologetic and it was absolutely not their fault. Store leadership, be it the owner or the overall manager, needed to be there to help. You can't have six to eight kids who looked no older than sixteen to nineteen running the store when it was as busy as it was. Two stars because the food was still good but god they needed help this evening."

"After waiting over an hour for one meal, I approached the poor kids working to be told that it still hasn’t been made. As the store manager/owner they should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this store and those poor kids working to suffer the way they were tonight. They were all under the pump and as someone who’s worked in hospitality for over a decade, I would be ashamed if this was my business. The kids working behind the counter should be commended for the way they handled themselves in the awful situation they were put in tonight. I know they’ll be sure as hell losing easily 30+ customers after tonight. I genuinely hope those kids find a better place to work, because they do not deserve to be in that situation that’s going on in this store. Hats off to them!"

"Had dinner with my kids at the new Armstrong creek location. Everything was cooked spot on, chicken was tender yet crispy, wraps were made to perfection and the lettuce was crispy and not soggy like we've experienced at other locations. The female that served us and cooked our meals was super friendly and she cooked everything perfectly. Restaurant was spotless and there's plenty of parking too. I'm shocked there's not a line out the door food was that good!"

"Lunched at the newly opened Schnitz in Armstrong Creek today. Easy parking, lovely staff and great food. We will definitely have to return and work our way through some of the delicious items on the menu. The Caesar Salad looked especially yummy."
