Since 1892, Founders' Hall has been the leading Anglican girls' school in the heart of Hobart, Tasmania. Our rich history and Christian foundation shape our educational approach, providing exceptional learning opportunities from the early years through to Year 12. We believe in offering a holistic education that not only focuses on academic excellence but also nurtures the wellbeing and personal growth of our students.

Our motto, "Beati Mundo Corde," derived from Matthew 5:8-10, translates to "blessed are those with a pure heart." This motto encapsulates our commitment to fostering a positive and ethical environment where students can flourish both academically and personally.

In line with our dedication to the wellbeing of our students, we are proud to announce that 118 of our employees have successfully completed the Mental Health First Aid course. We commend Mika Browning for leading this training, recognizing its importance in supporting our young people who may struggle with mental health. Building on this success, Mika will also be running the Teen Mental Health First Aid course for Years 8 and 10 next year, and we are actively working towards offering a course for parents as well.

Founders' Hall Middle School is also committed to recognizing the significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and traditions. We strive to promote inclusion, respect, and diversity in all our actions through the process of reconciliation and empowerment. We proudly acknowledge the muwinina people as the first inhabitants of nipaluna, the land on which our school stands.
