"If V-Line have an employee of the year it should certainly go to Dave at North Geelong Station. We were fortunate enough to be directed there when requiring a train trip from Geelong to Melbourne. Not having traveled by train for some time we were at a loss what to do when buying our tickets but Dave was an absolute gem who was so friendly and kind as he checked the balance on our long forgotten miki cards, updated them and gave patient, detailed explanations and instructions on their use. He informed us of the most cost-effective means of getting to our destination in Melbourne CBD and provided a map that included our destination. It was customer service at its most excellence and delivered with such a nurturing caring manner that elated us for the whole day and made us decide to repeat the train journey again in the near future. Well done Dave your are a credit to your profession."
"Getting to the station could be improved I'd say, there's only a small footpath towards the station from one of the bus stops and it's difficult to see. The station does have a lot of graffiti on it unfortunately, which gives it a grimy/dirty look. Nevertheless, you have a sizable waiting area and the platforms don't get particularly crowded."
