Little Peoples Early Learning Centre - Berkeley

Welcome to Little Peoples Early Learning Centre in Berkeley, Australia! Our center is conveniently located at 32 George Street, just across the road from Berkeley Public School. We are proud to offer a range of programs and services for children aged 18 months and up.

At Little Peoples Berkeley, we provide a Long Day Care Program based on the Early Years Learning Framework. Our curriculum focuses on the principles of Being, Belonging, and Becoming, ensuring that each child's individual needs and interests are met. We also offer Out of School Hours Care for students attending Berkeley Public School, making it convenient for working families.

Our center is equipped with a wide range of resources, including computers and a Smart Screen, to enhance children's learning experiences. We have a shaded and age-appropriate soft fall playground, providing a safe and engaging outdoor environment for children to explore and play.

One of our key priorities is the health and well-being of our children. We are proud to be approved by the Cancer Council and have implemented a nutritional menu that incorporates the daily dietary requirements of children. We receive fresh and nutritious meals from Kids Gourmet Food, ensuring that children are exposed to a variety of flavors, textures, and ingredients.

Our team of dedicated and friendly educators strive to create a welcoming and inviting learning environment. We believe in building positive relationships with families and encourage their active involvement in our program. We value the input and ideas of families, as we believe that they are children's first and most influential teachers.

As the Nominated Supervisor, I bring a wealth of experience and qualifications to Little Peoples Berkeley. I have been with the center since 2012, starting as a trainee and progressing to become a Room Leader, Nominated Supervisor, and Educational Leader. I hold a Certificate III, a diploma, and a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Teaching, specializing in children aged birth to 5 years.

Little Peoples Berkeley is a recipient of funding under the NSW Department of Education's Start Strong for Long Day Care 2023 program. This ensures that we can provide high-quality preschool programs for children. Families can also benefit from the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), which is paid directly to our center to help with the cost of child care.

We pay respect to the Traditional Custodians and First Peoples of NSW and acknowledge their continued connection to their country and culture.
