"Staff are not very friendly, aisles are wayyyy too small, the pricing is meant to confuse you lol. Even if they give you the receipt, the items don't really matches what's on the recipe so you can't really figure out what you bought anyway so there's no point to keep the receipt and check if they're the right item later on. Lots of items are about to expire too. There's a sunny mart nearby (walking distance) where you can find a lot of the similar items here too. Friendlier staff and better shopping experience."
"I like shopping here and wish I could give 2.5 stars but I can't. I don't know how many times I've gone into this store to buy goods and it's not in the register! Why do you put goods on the shelf when they're not in the system? One worker had to call their boss to get the prices of the goods I bought because they had no idea. At another time they told me to put the goods back on the shelf since they didn't know the prices. Very irritating for it to happen so regularly. It's actually the first shop where this is a constant problem."
"Don’t even want to provide one star. Extremely rude service!! Just shopped 5 mins ago at Asian town grocery in sandy bay, and holding about a 5kg bag with lots of heavy stuff purchased, the staff even wanted me to put it back the basket for them?? And try to correct me the black rice I purchased is called purple rice?? Is that right service? Also not the first time, always ask receipt for purchase but they always throw it onto me, especially in the city, receipt could blow away??? I mean Seriously? Why would I have to have this kind of service to ruin my day?"
"The staff there was rude, she asked me to not put my food and stuffs on their counter!! I mean what the hack??Then how can I suppose to buy them if you’re forbidden me to scan them?? She said put them around the counter!! So rude and she didn’t even ask if I need a recipe or not!"
