"My wife and I thought we found a very good tax agent in Hobart and they were good for a couple of years until we realised that they took it upon themselves to erase our capital gains tax loss that we had on a property we sold over a decade ago! even though it is still there in the system I actually spoke to the ATO and they told me that if they were to do that they should have run that by us or let us know that this was their intentions! Not only does it take 3 weeks to a month for them to process your return and the reason they tell you they take so long is because they go over it with a fine tooth comb but they can't even spell our address correctly and they had no right to take it upon themselves to make that change it was already there for over a decade ago."
