"Wish I could give 0 stars. Please do not buy your rings here. Ask family and friends for reviews on theirs first. Since telling people about my troubles with Michael Hill i've met 4 other women who are all back multiple times a year to replace their diamonds, in Geelong. I bought my wedding and engagement ring from here, as well as my husbands wedding band. In 4 years I have had SEVEN diamonds fall out of my rings. I have been back and forth so many times to have the diamonds replaced (luckily I paid extra for warranty). Customer service at the store is shocking. Rude and dismissive manager. Apparently nothing can be done and I just have to keep returning 5-6 times a year to have the diamonds replaced. They're claiming 'excessive wear'. I am a stay at home mum, not a plumber or tradie. If wearing the ring whilst folding clothes is going to break it then clearly it's a matter of quality, not excessive folding or holding of babies. Regional manager is like a robot, reading off a script. No sense of understanding or sympathy whatsoever. When we got my husbands titanium band, we were told that if it ever got a scratch on it (shouldn't apparently) that we could come in and trade it for $50. When we came in to do this we were told that the company that did that is no longer connected to Michael Hill so we couldn't have it replaced. (This was within 2 years!) Just disgusting, can't believe we wasted so much money on this cheap trash. Avoid."

"Went to try on wedding bands and Jodie was an ok sales assistant she did her job to the bare minimum and showed me some ring options. But the reasoning for my negative review is when she tried on my ring to display the rings to me. I was instantly offended and asked her to let me try them on myself. However she proceeded to continue wearing my ring and showing me things on her hand. I kept taking my ring off her and putting it back on my hand. But she didn’t get the hint. It absolutely put me off and made me feel disrespected because my engagement ring is for me. To try on my hand. Not anyone else’s, regardless of whether she’s trying to display an item. I can try it on with my ring to display it on myself, otherwise I’ll shop online and look at the modelled images. There would be no purpose for me to come in store. No other jewellery store has done that to me when trying on bands and no other Michael hill assistant has done that to me at any of the other locations I’ve been to either. To make it worse. She never smiled whilst helping me and looked me up and down constantly. Humble yourself and learn how to assist when it comes to sensitive moments like engagements."

"Had to bring in our rings before the wedding it resize. Jenny advised us on how the current wedding ring won't fit properly in future. We decided to pick another one out that was more suitable. At first we had issues because the rings were originally purchased through Humm. But Jenny and the Store Manager stepped in and went above and beyond to help us get it sorted. Big thanks for the customer service. Hard to find these days."
