"We had the best stay at Freshwater Creek Cottages. The cottage itself was beautiful, warm & cozy. The kids had a ball - didn't want to stay inside and were outside playing the entire time. The highlight was definitely being able to feed all of the different animals constantly, and the kangaroo that met us every day (and in the middle of the night!) outside. We took our dog - who also had a blast. She was desperate to be off the lead, but was exhausted every night anyway. We definitely want to come back!"

The children had the freedom to explore fields and beautiful surroundings, feed the cows and pigs ,pat the sheep, take the goats for a walk ,and collect the eggs. They loved having the independence to ride their bikes in safety , hands on experience with the animals and help with farm activities. Phil and Marissa were so welcoming and friendly and took the time to interact with the children - even creating a thrilling ‘ cow on the loose ‘ adventure! Look forward to our next visit."

"We have been coming to the farm stay since it opened over 10 years ago. Our girls are now 15 and 13 and still love coming here. The grounds are safe enough to allow children to explore on their own allowing time for parents to have a well needed rest! We have bought many friends with us over the years and they are now also coming with their own friend and families. Word has well and truely gotten out! We will never tire of Freshwater Creek Cottages and will continue our annual pilgrimage for as long as we can."
