Our dedicated clinical team comes from diverse backgrounds, bringing unique perspectives to their practice. For instance, Steve Porter, our Clinical Psychology Registrar, has prior experience in heavy industry and the corporate sector in health and transport/logistics. This experience has allowed him to better understand the different environments our clients may face, and he appreciates the significance of supporting individuals in regional and rural NSW.

When you visit Growth Psychology Services, you can expect to be greeted and treated by a positive and professional team. We are committed to supporting regional and rural NSW, and as a result, we are flexible to the needs of our clients. We understand that scheduling sessions during business hours may not always be convenient, so we offer the option of booking sessions outside of regular hours or on weekends through telehealth.

Our most frequently used treatment approaches are Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. However, we understand that different presenting difficulties may require alternative approaches. Rest assured, we will consult with you and include you in the decision-making process to ensure the best treatment plan for your needs.

In addition to our therapeutic services, we also provide a diverse range of assessment services. Our team is trained in cognitive assessments, memory assessments, autism diagnostic assessments, and adaptive functioning assessments. Our comprehensive reports can inform diagnostic processes, support NDIS applications, assist with school support plans, or be tailored to meet specific requirements. Furthermore, we are an approved provider for workers' compensation claims.

If you are interested in our rural assessment blocks or workshops, please refer to the attached document for practice managers. This document outlines how clients will be scheduled and planned for the block. Please note that minimum numbers are required before a rural block can be confirmed, and a non-refundable deposit of $200 is necessary to secure the assessment block.
