The drier slopes of Figtree are adorned with Red Gum Open Forests, which showcase Pink-tips, Black She-oak, Native Cherry, Prickly-leaved Paperback, and various wattles.

Keep an eye out for birds like the Yellow-tail Black Cockatoo and the Brown Thornbill, as well as amphibians like the Brown-striped Frog.
