"I emailed prior to this to no avail. Do not take rabbits to these people. They dont tell you the honest truth.. They are not "rabbit savvy" vets. My poor girl and her family (us) lived a tortured 24 hrs which could have been avoided. We had to see another vet on Sunday to put her down. Would have been great to know that she should have had blood tests (which their facilities are not capable of so they just didnt offer) should have also referred her to an overnight hospital instead of the usual.. "No-ones here at night. Have a bash force feeding her yourself." They cagrged us $400? for a 2 hr hospital stay where they supposedly gave her "Ctritcal Care TM" and hydration. The place where we ended up had facilities for rabbit blood work and were going to charge $600 for 24 hour care (poor girl was too bad and passed though) If you have a rabbit, dont do it. For your rabs' sake. I still dont forgive myself for thinking things may have been different had I been given honesty and options. Let's not so forget the time i brought my dog in. Its a popular office so the carpark was full. I parked next door. There was a swish white truck with a shopping trolley next to it. As I parked, a young lad comes running over like a total tosser, hands waving and scowling. He thought I had shopped and left the trolley on his precious 'All Wheel Drive'. It was abusive. Wow. Are you going to take it off road or just be a hero on the streets of Dapto? Anyway, it turns out he is the son of the owner. It's all very disappointing..... Yes! I also remember the time they made me sedate my dog and book (ANOTHER $$) appointment before theyd clip his nails. Hes a cattle dog but not snappy AT ALL. Hes a wuss so he was admittedly carrying on moving his paws and being a sook. Other vets however have just said "Oi!" and taken some authority. These weird Stepford Wives setup is all, "Feed him these pills ($$$) and come back$$$$." Lol. Do not reccommend. No."
"Exceptional vet practice, our Golden Retriever was cared for by this incredible team of vets, nurses and support staff throughout all stages of his life. Now we start the journey again with our new pup and I couldn't even think of going somewhere else. We travel to Dapto from Kiama because of how well this team treats the animals in their care. I would highly recommend Companion Animal Vet Hospital to all pet owners in the Illawarra."
"Thank you to the whole team for always having great customer service and treating my 2 girls like their own pets. Massive shoutout to Emily tonight for putting up with Bounty and Chino being anxious for their appointment. Emily took her time and helped create a calm environment for our appointment."
"Took care of my dog for the majority of his life with various surgeries and other issues and were there for his recent passing. Genuine animal lovers with compassion and understanding. I little bit expensive but absolutely worth it for the level of care and professionalism. I'll definitely take my future dogs to them for as long as Matt is at the helm."
"Can't thank them enough for their help with my sick dog. Highly recommend you checking them out."
