Whether you are seeking individual, couples, or family therapy, our experienced therapist, Paul, is here to help. With several years of experience in the community sector, Paul is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families overcome a range of problems. He holds an honours degree in psychology and is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Paul provides counselling services as a provisional psychologist registered with AHPRA and receives regular professional supervision.

As a Level 1 trained Gottman Institute Couples Counsellor, Paul offers comprehensive couples and family counselling appointments that last up to 90 minutes. For shorter sessions, 1-hour appointments are also available. Please note that there is no Medicare rebate available for these services, and no referral is required.

In addition to individual and couples counselling, Fisher Psychology also offers quality professional supervision services provided by Naomi, an experienced and highly trained clinical supervisor. Naomi is an approved supervisor for provisionally registered psychologists completing their registration via the 5 1 pathway. Whether you prefer teleconferencing or in-person sessions, Naomi is here to support you.

During counselling sessions, our goal is to understand the challenges you are currently facing and work together as a team towards your goals. Our fully registered psychologist, Paul, has substantial experience counselling individuals, couples, and families of all ages. While Paul is currently focusing on delivering individual adult psychological interventions, he is trained in various therapeutic modalities and has a special interest in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy.

If you are interested in EMDR therapy, Fisher Psychology is happy to provide sessions in person or via Telehealth or Videoconferencing. Please note that at this time, Paul is only accepting referrals from clients interested in EMDR therapy. Suitability for this treatment can be assessed during the initial appointment if required.

To make our services more accessible, a Medicare rebate of $89.65 is claimable with a valid mental health care plan GP referral for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
