"After reading some very negative reviews I was very concerned that I had made the wrong choice in seeing Dr Karen Wade. But thankfully I decided to make my own judgement. I found the Dr very informative. Even though she couldn't help me with my problem she has put me on the track to hopefully getting some help. I also appreciate the help from her receptionist who is also named Karen. She was friendly kind and pleasant. This experience has definitely taught me to not judge anyone on someone else's experience.24/03/21"

"I had a very traumatic experience with Karen. She made me feel very uncomfortable with her bedside manner. She basically told me I was wasting her time, after I made another appointment to ask questions about my upcoming surgery appointment. One of the questions was, is there any way I can avoid getting my ovary removed. Not only was Karen quite rude, her receptionist was also very rude on several occasions. I decided I didn't feel comfortable with Karen doing the surgery, so I cancelled. We had an argument over the phone and she told me how dare I call her (4:30 pm on a Thursday) during her precious personal time. She then sent a nasty letter to my GP about me who was horrified at what I had experienced with Karen. I have now had the surgery done with another gynaecologist (who was so lovely and caring) he also saved my ovary and said there was no reason to remove my ovary. I feel a bit anxious about leaving this review, because I know Karen and her receptionist Karen will leave a nasty reply. But I wish I had of googled her before I made my appointment with her."

"Karen Wade cancelled my surgery with 2 days notice due to her ill health. Her receptionist Karen at no stage apologised over the ensuing weeks as the date was pushed out, and in all subsequent communication was abrupt and bordering on rude. When I cancelled my surgery with 6 days warning because my son was suicidal, Wade charged me a 20% cancellation fee. Karen might have a good CV but her brusque personal style and bed side manner has a lot to be desired."

"I am not one to leave reviews however reading some that have been left on Karen Wade previously I felt it necessary to tell another side of the story. Recently I was referred to Karen and as you do I googled before my visit. I was so nervous sitting in the waiting room and had already decided I would get a second opinion. Within 2 minutes of being with Karen I felt I was in the best possible hands. Karen is professional, compassionate and understanding. Karen offered a great explanation as to what was going on with my body and rather than telling me what we were going do gave me her professional opinion and from there we worked out the best solution. I have phoned Karen on her mobile after hours and she has been amazing. If you want some fluffy diagnosis maybe Karen is not for you but if you want the facts and the best way to deal with them Karen is fantastic. As a middle aged female I feel way more comfortable knowing I have a great Gyneocologist!"
