Reviews of Sandon Point
"What a beautiful location! They even accept blow ins and love the tourist scene. Absolutely wonderful."
"A really nice green park area by the surf lifesaving club. Would be perfect for a picnic here on a balmy night. We wandered around at dusk. Saw a few memorials erected as we walked around. The surfboard by the beach path from the carpark is pretty cool."
"Beautiful spot to sit and view the escarpment and watch any surfers. There are great rock pools to explore and an easy walk down via the stairs. Another plus was the nearby Toilets at the SLS Block ."
"Lovely park with plenty of green space overlooking the beach. There isn’t much shade, just a couple of big trees so good idea to bring some sort of pop up shade or parasol. It’s a little less crowded that the beach and a really great spot for a picnic and family and friends to gather. Room to fly kites and for ball sports. Street parking available with no meter as well as car park near surf club. It does get pretty full on sunny warm days though."
