"Beautiful little waterfall. You can take the 10 mins track which is super easy or the longer track. We did the longer one as a family of 4 and our youngest is 5 and he had no problem at all. Take warm clothes as it does get pretty cold. Parking can be a problem as there is only a small carpark and it gets quite busy."

"Pretty easy to access, it’s mostly flat with some parts going uphill but not tooooo crazy. I think the beauty of the waterfall is directly proportional to the amount of rain there has been prior to the visit, as I can see amazing pictures in other reviews and it wasn’t that impressive when we went there! Anyways, for the type of walk and the easy access when parking at fern tree car park it’s ok but I would be a bit disappointed if I hiked all the way down from Mt Wellington just with the intention of seeing this waterfall. There’s toilets available at the beginning of the track"

"The route to Silver Falls is marked as one if the easiest treks, I wouldn't call it 'easy' but it was beautiful, worth the challenge. Cute little waterfall at the end - lots of awesome photo opps, then your hike back begins! Rug up, it gets chilly on mount Wellington!"
