Reviews
"We strolled down Hampden road from the Jackson Ross cafe — it’s about 2minute easy walk downhill. Nice quiet area. We saw some men fishing here and a person walking their dog. Good views of Derwent river. Waterfront path to Salamanca goes around CSIRO complex. Easy stroll level path. There is a family sized table — to enjoy quiet lunch and a Sculpture artwork with bench. No amenities. Some parking available"
"Good park. Nice to have a walk or just vibing"
"Beautiful quiet place to park your car and start walking towards Salamanca Markets. Have a seat and meditate to the lovely view of calm water before leaving."
"The park is quite small, and appears to be used mostly by fishermen and locals. Some interesting relationships between the homes and bay, with many old rusted boat entrances and traces of prior use."
"Absolutely beautiful place at sunset. We went for a walk and ended up here, then climbed over some of the rocks to head to pier... not sure if it was a private pier, seemed to be for the houses there once we got closer, but we enjoyed our clamber anyway."
