Reviews of Fitzroy Gardens
"Peaceful place. Great for a little time out from the hussle and bussle. Safe playground for children, room for dogs, beautiful old trees to sit under and just "be""
"Beautiful little park for a picnic and a play for the kids. Gorgeous roses too."
"Fitzroy Gardens is one of the hidden gems of Hobart. Its not on the tourist route and if you don't know what you are looking for then you wont even know that its there. As you flick of Davey St onto the Southern Outlet you might catch a glimpse of it out of your left eye but that might be dangerous. Better to park in Fitzroy St and enjoy it at your leisure. It is a beautiful park in a very historic part of the city. The houses are beautiful and well maintained. You could easily bring some lunch and enjoy it under one of the hundreds of trees. But be aware, if the sun isn't out it will be cold, because of its aspect. Hobart City Council does a great job of maintaining it and well done to the parks crew. If your looking for something to do check out Fitzroy Gardens."
"Stunning peaceful place to stroll around or just sit. Would have given 5, but Hobart Council need to do some tidying in some garden beds. Still a beautiful setting."
"Dog off leash hours. Doggy poo bags provided. Public toilets. Beautiful gardens."
