Reviews of Cornelian Bay Playground
"Fully gated playground with benches right on the ground water. There is one large gated playground area for probably 3+, then another gated playground with a huge rope climbing structure. Its all well maintained with incredible views. Toilets are along the path past the boathouse/kiosk. Parking is next to the playground or at the boathouse. Would be a nice place to have a coffee and let the kiddos play. As a whole family we enjoyed balancing on the wood posts and walking along. :)"
"A beautiful, picturesque, clean, well designed playground! Variety of play - slide, swings - 3 strap, 2 infant & one combined, various climb play - wooden step poles with gradually varying height, webbed chains, ropes, metal steps and bars, curved bridge, sea-saw, spring riders, spinners, boat on sand, 2 level bridge, mushroom like statues for toddler sensory play and many more! Entire playground is fenced, 2 sections with one dedicated to rope climbing. Seating and shade trees inside the fenced areas too. Kiosk nearby within the Cornelian Bay boathouse provides access to snacks and ice cream (9am to 4pm as of 23/12/22). Public toilet just next to the Boathouse. Covered Bbq area next to playground. Plenty of free parking! Views of the bay with boats scattered, and raft of recreational boat sheds to the side, with the Tasmanian bridge in the backdrop. Can get pretty windy so consider clothing appropriately"
"One of THHE best child and dog friendly Bay. Beautiful walk, great food and portion size. Come here every few weeks. Dogy loves ig"
"Loved this park. Plenty of equipment for kids to play with. Has a barbecue area and some great views over the bay. Good to go as a family or small or large groups. We went on a Sunday evening and it was almost empty. Plenty of room to organise a picnic."
"A small but clean playground in the shores of Cornelian Bay and limited street parking. Beautiful background to the bridge and surrounding suburbs. Best of all it is free and located in a quieter part of town. When its windy it can be very cold."
