One of the unique aspects of our institution is that you do not need a referral to attend Illawarra Clinical Psychology. However, if you obtain a referral from your GP or Psychiatrist under a Mental Health Care Plan, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate. This rebate allows you to claim $129.55 for up to 20 sessions per calendar year. Alternatively, if you have appropriate cover, you can also claim a rebate from your private health fund.

To ensure that we can provide the highest quality care to all our clients, we kindly request that you honor your scheduled appointments. All appointment times are reserved in advance and set aside specifically for you. In the event that you miss an appointment or cancel with less than 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of $120 may be charged. Please note that this fee cannot be claimed through Medicare or private health cover.
