"Really not impressed with our latest purchase, a recliner package worth $1300 & being only a few weeks old we have already made contact due to the quality of it only to be told its "normal" and would fall under "change of mind" instead of under warranty which mind you, we paid extra for. If we wanted to throw $1300 down the drain we could have used the drains in our street gutters! We paid money for a lounge and was promised over and over that it was great quality, and if anything happened we would be covered because we paid the extra warranty. The male we spoke to numerous times at the corio store before it was delivered assured me it would be fine as I was wanting some sort of protective cover. Now, im being told by a female who actually came to my home to inspect the couch that a extreme pile build up, loose threads, sagging recliners and no support in the recliner legs is considered normal wear and tear in just a space of 4 weeks. The brand new couch looks 10 years old and I am not happy. We should have learnt the first time we made a purchase at FF but from now on, never again. Such a disappointment, especially for families like ours that don't have big $$$$ to throw at decent furniture stores, the ones we can afford always seem to let us down. Not a fantastic experience at all."

"Experience was good. Until I found one of the item having issue while assembling. Reported instantly on official site with no response. Then I called the branch and send them e-mail to store as per their instruction. Waited for another few days. Called the branch again. Turn out store manager claimed that the credit department claimed that's my human error on such damage. I'm sure that I was installing accurately as per installation manual. Finally the store manager willing to replace the damaged part."

"Guys, can you believe that this was my first ever time at Fantastic Furniture? Honestly I liked alot of the furniture and was pleased to see that some things were actually made in Australia. Staff seemed very thin on the floor, but the guy at the desk was friendly enough. They had a kids movie going to entertain little ones. It's not high end stuff but worth a look. Especially if you are going to this 'home maker' area where there are 4 other furniture places."
