Our unique location next to the Junior School campus allows our kinder children to interact with students from Prep to Year 4. This integration builds positive relationships and a sense of community. Additionally, our popular Bush Kinder program and access to resources from Junior School-Belmont, such as library and music sessions with specialist teachers, further enhance the learning experience.

We prioritize the connections between children, families, and trusted educators. Our programs are designed to meet the developmental needs of our preschoolers, offering meaningful and purposeful learning experiences. We also emphasize the importance of connecting with our world through an intentional pedagogy that recognizes the significance of nature and our responsibilities towards the planet.

As the first point of connection into the Christian College community, it is important to us that all families feel the shared Christian ethos that defines our institution. We are committed to understanding and supporting the needs of each family, fostering inclusivity, and providing a beautiful, functional, and welcoming physical space.

Our Prekinder program offers a gentle introduction to the school environment. Children develop a sense of belonging within their cohort and learn to engage with each other through play and exploration. Preschool builds on this foundation, introducing more complex ways of learning and fostering a sense of agency and mastery across all developmental areas. Collaboration with the Junior Schools allows us to offer specialist subjects such as Music, Japanese, and Library.

As one of the first schools in the region to introduce Bush Kinder, we are proud to offer this unique learning experience. We have recently added Beach Kinder to our program, allowing our students to develop their motor skills while also fostering a love for the environment and an understanding of how to protect it.

At Williams House Kindergarten, we strive to challenge and expand key skills in preparation for Junior School. With specialist subjects and a balanced integration of indoor and outdoor activities, our preschool program provides a holistic and enriching learning experience.
