"I find Spotlight to be really expensive compared to other sewing stores such as Heights (also in Geelong). Being a Spotlight VIP member brings the prices down to an OK price if there is a special running, but there is no other advantage to being a VIP. You don't collect points, and you can't check past purchases online. However, the staff are friendly and helpful. Normally, if there is a bit queue for fabric cutting, someone will jump in."

"Big store with a huge range. Watch out for the discounts. I recently purchased a mattress topper which was reduced with 40% off. I checked other prices and discount was real. I have often purchased fabric and haberdashery. Sometimes hard to find what you want but staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about their department. Large car park in fry and underground makes access easier."
