As part of the St Vincent de Paul Society, we are committed to providing over 200 services that help people facing poverty and social injustice.

With a longstanding position of supporting constitutional recognition of Australia’s First Nations peoples, we strive to create a more just and compassionate society. Our dedicated team of over 45,000 members and volunteers work tirelessly to assist individuals and families in need across Australia. Internationally, our reach extends to 153 countries with over 800,000 members.

We are proud to be a nominating organization for the Australian Government's School Student Broadband Initiative (SSBI), providing opportunities for students in need. And we are always looking for motivated, community-minded individuals to join us in our programs, events, and services nationwide.

Through the stories of individuals like Samantha, whose life was turned around with a helping hand from Vinnies, or J and D, who faced unexpected challenges later in life, we see the impact of our work. By actively and passionately speaking out against the causes of poverty and inequality, we advocate for a more equitable society.

As a lay Catholic organization, we acknowledge that we are on Aboriginal land and pay our respects to all traditional custodians. We use images of deceased members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community with the utmost respect and appreciation.
