"I have honestly never left a negative comment or review anywhere, but equally, I have never experienced a barber (or anyone) as intransigent and rude, or with as little understanding and compassion, as Getter. Yesterday my four-year-old son and I were turned away at the door by Getter because we were 10 minutes late for his appointment. She repeatedly (incorrectly) accused us of being “more than 15 minutes late” - it was 10 - and turned us away. Her reasoning was that to cut my son’s hair would mean her next appointment would have to wait. That seems completely ridiculous given that I have happily waited for a hair appointment many times. Now, I accept that we should not be late for appointments (and ordinarily I am on time), but getting a 4-year-old and a 9-month-old ready, out of the house, and through school traffic caused us to be a little bit late for our appointment. I have never, ever been refused service for being a few minutes late. The shop was empty, except for one person in another chair getting his hair cut - it’s not as if the place was overrun with customers. I have been a regular customer of Ironbark Barber since moving to the area last year. I have loved the experience and service and have had my hair and beard cut by Jordan, Sam and Amber. But I will never set foot in your shop again. You have lost a loyal customer because a 4-year-old kid was 10 minutes late to an appointment, and your barber was so intransigent and rude that she made my wife cry. I would have given zero stars, but have left one, because the experience gave me an opportunity to teach my son that we don’t do business with rude people."

"Honestly forget it, greeted by two of the most unwelcoming people, in a shop that was empty was told that I hadn’t confirmed a haircut because of a typo, then was told that I couldn’t get both a fade and a 3 minute beard trim because I hadn’t booked both, so my only option was a haircut and a 3 minute beard trim or a fade.. Really my beard would’ve been a easy addition, the preceding humpf of the “barber” was fair to say embarrassing especially the spritz of water in the face and the slamming of combs, I decided not to bother. When the competition arrives they might lift their game"

"I was cut by the barber here Mitch. The request was a simple shape up and skin fade on the sides, what i received was not what i asked for to say the least. refer to the pics to see the cut I paid $45 for. I don't recommend coming here."
