"Disclaimer: I have never given negative google reviews but this time I really don’t have other channels to give my feedback. I brought my car in on 17/2/23 at 820am, told them I finish work at 5pm down the road, they told me they close at 5pm too. I was contacted at 350pm that my vehicle was ready for collection. Got another reminder to collect my vehicle at 458pm as they were closing. I told them I m running late as I m attending to an unwell patient in the clinic. I only work 1 min drive from the auto centre and asked if they could send the car down so someone at my clinic could make the payment. They initially advised that the car key will be left in the car with invoice on the seat for me to make payment as they cannot wait for me to arrived. Then I was asked to make credit card payment over the phone which I could not because I was in the midst of attending to an unwell patient. I then received a missed call at 513pm and tried calling back at 515pm but there was no answer. Arrived the auto centre at 530, my car parked outside the workshop, locked, keys nowhere to be found. I tried calling several times at 544, 545 and 607pm to no avail. Thankfully, my colleague rang RACV for assistance. Not sure if it’s by chance but the RACV responder happened to work at this auto centre so he was able to open the office and asked for payment before releasing the keys to me after an hour of frantic calling around in exasperation. I do not recommend this place due to inconsiderate customer service, not only with reference to the keys but also my car was returned unwashed - this is the first time I’ve encountered after going to 4 different service centres in the past 3 years. Areas to improve 1) leave an after hours emergency number so customers could contact you, it is unreasonable to lock up my car and house keys with no avenue for me to contact 2) if there’s concerns regarding payment, u can always ask for credit card details on file upon check in, even if you did not, u have my home address on file which u can always send me an invoice to get payment 3) if the number of vehicles exceed your ability to service in a day it’s ok to reschedule mine to another day, mine was not an urgent service and would be happy to be turned away even in the day. This is so you could ensure complete service for every vehicle including returning the car at least with an exterior wipe down"

"OGAC relocated an electric brake controller on my new Isuzu MUX to a more central location. 2 months later I had issues (my fault with settings). A call to Chris identified the probable issue and he immediately sent photos of the controller manual, with an offer of further support if required. He was spot on, the problem resolved, and my caravanning adventure in Tassie continued with smooth responsive brakes. Highly recommended!"
