Hype DC Wollongong

"Decent collection, but a bit pricey compared to other stores that sell similar adidas and converse shoes. I went in on Sunday, the assistant was helpful in ordering shoes to my home, was supposed to arrive in 2 to 3 days. Which it did, just not to my house. The assistant had entered in the wrong suburb, so my shoes ended up in a post office over an hr away. It's a simple mistake, so I contacted hype dc to send shoes to the correct address. HypeDC said they couldn't until the post office returned them to HypeDC head office, which would take at least 10days. HypeDC said they would then send it to my actual address as originally requested. But they couldn't give me any ETA. The big issue was that the person who may have gotten my shoes had a missed post slip, and they could have taken it into the post office anytime and claimed my shoes. So this forced me to drive over 2hrs to get the shoes. While HypeDC were apologetic and respectful over the phone, I'm very disappointed that there was no sense of urgency to rectify their mistake and ensure I received my shoes in a timely manner. Given there are so many other options for buying shoes, this example of mediocre customer service surely can't be a good business model"

"I'm just shy of 50 - obviously I don't fit the required mould. The shop assistant didn't even acknowledge me although was fussing over an 18 year old. Extremely poor customer service- will not be back!"

"Overall good experience but one of the salesgirl seemed pretty lazy...she didn't greet or wen i asked a question she didn't bother to answer properly neither she attempted to chk the stock if available nor she politely declined but ya one cute asian girl was very good she was approaching all the customers and assisting them really well"
