"Our waitress was fantastic! Her knowledge of the food and beverage menus was impressive. Her attentive service and consideration to our elderly parents was admirable. The meals were cooked superbly. The only slight criticism was that the salmon dish wasn't as fresh as we'd like. But overall, a fantastic family meal and gathering with gorgeous views of the local park and harbour."

"I was fortunate to celebrate my birthday in the Function Room at the Anchorage. The service was excellent. Elissa was the waitress for the evening, and she efficiently managed all the meals and even catered for an error with someone eating the wrong entree. Olivia handled all the drinks and was able to cater to all requests and she did this always smiling. She kept me informed and up to date about the drink limit. Michelle in the office checked that we had all we needed through out the evening. The only name I did not get was the name of the Chief, all the guests raved about the steak Some of the comments repeated over and over "This is the best steak I have had in a long time, Cooked to perfection". Thank you to all the team and thank you for catering to all the needs and wants of my guests. I had a great night and would not hesitate to book there again."

The restaurant's atmosphere was elegant and romantic, with dim lighting, soft music, and beautiful decor that set the perfect mood for our special occasion."

"I always passed through this restaurant and promised myself that I would come one day. Why did I take so long? It was a delicious surprise! I went with my son and husband. I shared the snapper with my son and asked the smashed potatoes as a side. My hubby chose the chicken. The dishes were absolutely delicious! It had been a while since I last tasted such well cooked snapper. The desert was also extremely tasty. The cheesecake was excellent, not too heavy as I have previously experienced in other places. The beautiful afternoon and the gorgeous harbour views from the window made a perfect scenario. I will definitely come back soon. It is just amazing to know we have places like this very close by."

"The quality of food and atmosphere cannot be faulted. But a place should not be judged on these 2 things alone. Remember, there are lots more places along this stretch of road with the same views. I have been to most of them. The service was ordinary to say the least. We got in and ordered drinks. 5 minutes later we ordered starters. We only ordered breads so they could be brought out quick. 5 minutes after that our mains were ordered. A little over an hour later we asked where the starters were. Not once in that hour did anyone come anywhere near us. Not even for drinks. We were going to spend up big as it was a special occasion. 15 minutes later the mains came out, but not all at the same time. 3 came out. By the time those 3 had finished their meal another 2 came out, along with our starters. Everyone had well and truly finished their meal when mine turned up. A good 20 minutes later. Almost like they forgot about me. IT WAS CLOSE TO 2 HOURS AFTER WE ORDERED OUR MAINS. The waitress was quite abrupt when handing the meals out, only apologising to me for how long my took. If they had name tags on I would name and shame. There were not many people there. I'd hate to see how they go when the place is full."
