"Great playground. Park could be better maintained. Every time I go there with my dog other people let their dogs of the leash illegaly. Some loose dogs get too close to young children in the playground. This needs to be policed."
"Nice park, the shaded seating areas can be OK but front on the walkways so its not exactly the perfect place, also I notice the lawn around the rose gardens have green paint laid around it - could be toxic? Also has some areas with uneven ground presumably there since the 89 earthquake, take care walking at night"
"This is a great park for kids and adults near the centre of the city. There is a decent size playground for children at the northern end of the park next to Lowlands Bowling Club whilst the Southern end is more open. A rotunda is located near the playground."
"Really nice park! Great playground for kids, lovely trees, free BBQ near the bowls club, lots of seats and park benches, good street parking and a really nice pagola. Bubblers and lots of shade for the hot summers."
"I haven't used it myself but it looks like the kids enjoy it and there is plenty of space for everyone to have fun and muck around together. Looks pretty safe and well constructed as well as being in a safe and friendly neighborhood. Bonus is that it is not near any major roads so extra safe in that sense."
