"Disgusting apartments. Dirty and poorly equipped. We spent 20 minutes trying to find a parking spot to check in as you can’t access car park till you physically walk in and get swipe card. Why not have an intercom system where you can be buzzed into garage and allocated parking spot then check in at reception to get room keys etc. Upon entering apartment it was very disappointing.  Felt very basic and had faint odour of not being cleaned properly. Sofa was dirty with peeling armrests and too small for 4 people to sit on for two bedroom apartment. There were no coat hangers in any of the two bedroom wardrobes to hang clothes. Wardrobes in main bedroom were filthy and moldy. No extra pillows  and the two supplied were extremely thin. No  extra blankets or doonas in wardrobe (extremely disappointing as we were travelling with my elderly parents who feel the cold). No saucepans in kitchen to cook anything. No sharp knives of any description. The only cutlery for four people was one teaspoon, one butter knife and two forks 2 water glasses only for 4 people No wine glasses Two dinner plates for four people No bedside lamps so really hard to read at night if one of you wanted to sleep. Tv continually dropped out of reception. Bugs crawling in kitchen at night. The only good thing about the experience was the duty manager. Thank god for Jodie. She was helpful both at check in and during our stay. She went out of her way to provide us with items missing in our apartment when I contacted her. She was also very disgusted and couldn’t apologize enough for the state of the apartment. We got the feeling that she was fighting a losing battle against whoever owns this disgusting property. Would I recommend this apartment? Absolutely not."

"This was our first time staying here. The location, parking and apartment size was great. The apartment is a little tired but clean. It is definitely the largest of apartments in this area of Newcastle. We stayed on a Tuesday night and were woken at 5am to the garbage trucks on the street. It was loud most of the evening and the beds could have used a few extra pillows. Given the other available accommodation in Newcastle, it's probably unlikely that we will stay here again unless we require a lot of space for our next stay."

"We found Dirty dead bugs in the kids beds. Shook them off for our 3 day stay. But unfortunately they turned out to be lice! Now we are treating our sons hair! Dogs were in the Swimming pool with Aussie houzzos too Australia day. Told the manager who really did not let me know if he removed them. We didn't return to the pool. Cockroaches in the dishwasher. Air-conditioning not working properly either. Not recommended at all ! Never coming back!"
