Welcome to East Coast Allstars Cheerleading (ECA), a prestigious American Style Cheerleading gym located in Gateshead, Pacific Highway, Australia. With additional locations in Newcastle and Silverwater, NSW, we are dedicated to providing a cost-effective gym that caters to cheerleaders of all levels.

At ECA, we have a deep passion for the sport of cheerleading and pride ourselves on forming special bonds and relationships with our athletes. Our experienced coaches are committed to their athletes' development, ensuring they reach their full potential season after season.

We are proud to announce that ECA recently returned from the 2022 Cheerleading World Championships in Orlando, Florida, where we achieved an outstanding Bronze in the International Open Small Coed level 5 division. This remarkable accomplishment makes us the only gym in NSW and the third gym in all of Australia to win a Globe and stand on the podium at the prestigious World Cheerleading Championships.

Cheerleading encompasses various elements, including stunting, tumbling, baskets, pyramids, jumps, and dancing. At ECA, we offer comprehensive training in all these areas, ensuring our athletes reach the highest level of skill and performance.

Established in 2008, East Coast Allstars has grown from humble beginnings in a public park to its own dedicated gym in Gateshead. Due to our rapid expansion, we had to relocate to a larger facility within four years. Our current gym boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including a 9-run sprung floor, a 9-run hard floor, a tumble track with a crash mat, an air track, and multiple other mats. Additionally, our facility includes an office, store room, and reception area. It is worth noting that our gym is the only one in Australia owned by an individual with a World Championship, an International Cheer Union Gold medal representing Team USA, and a Silver medal representing Team Australia.

All our coaches at ECA are USASF/IASF Cheerleading accredited and hold NSW Working with Children Checks, ensuring the safety and well-being of our athletes.

Since our establishment, East Coast Allstars has consistently achieved success, earning State and National Championships as well as State and National Grand Championships every year. We have also competed at the World Championships in Florida in 2011, 2013, and 2015, consistently making it through to the finals against as many as 96 other teams. Furthermore, our athletes and coaches have proudly represented Team Australia at the World Championships, bringing home two silver medals. Notably, our athletes also hold the Guinness World Record for the highest basket toss.
