Welcome to the Awabakal Environmental Education Centre, located in Dudley, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing top-notch environmental education to students of all ages.

Exciting news! Starting in 2023, we will be offering fieldwork excursions, allowing students to immerse themselves in hands-on learning experiences. In 2022, after careful consultation, the Wetlands and Awabakal Environmental Education Centres have merged to form one school known as the Awabakal Environmental Education Centre. With two campuses, namely Dudley Campus (formerly Awabakal EEC) and Wetlands Campus (formerly Wetlands EEC), we strive to deliver high-quality educational programs across various locations.

During our fieldwork excursions, teams of four students from different schools will have the opportunity to investigate and discover environmental issues in the local surroundings. Through practical, hands-on activities, student teams will gain valuable insights and develop potential management strategies for these issues.

We are proud to offer this event as a free opportunity exclusively for Department of Education Schools. It is our way of fostering a love for the environment and encouraging students to become active stewards of our planet.

Before we conclude, we would like to take a moment to pay our respects and acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land. We also extend our respect to Elders, both past and present, for their continued wisdom and guidance.
