Welcome to Kotara School, a vibrant institution located in the heart of Australia's beautiful Glenrock Network of schools. As a member of the esteemed Kotara Community of Schools, we strive to provide a personalized education experience for our students across two campuses.

Our main site, nestled in the suburb of Kotara, boasts four classes catering to students from years 3 to 6. With a dedicated and passionate team of educators, we create a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire, ensuring that every child reaches their full potential.

In addition to our main campus, we have two classes located within the Nexus inpatient unit at the renowned John Hunter Hospital. This specialized program caters to students who are receiving medical care, ensuring that their education continues seamlessly during their hospital stay.

At Kotara School, we understand the importance of embracing technology in education. That's why we are proud to offer our Technology 4 Learning (T4L) online resources, providing innovative tech solutions for the classroom. From interactive learning platforms to cutting-edge educational tools, our students have access to the latest advancements in digital education.

We are also excited to announce the opportunity class for Year 5 entry in 2024. If your child is in Year 4 and seeking a new challenge, we encourage you to consider applying. This program offers a stimulating and enriching curriculum, designed to cultivate critical thinking and foster academic excellence.

As part of our commitment to holistic education, Kotara School actively encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities. We are thrilled to announce that the Premier's Debating Challenge will be back in 2023. Open to all NSW government schools, this competition aims to develop students' public speaking and critical thinking skills.
