Reviews of Naru Beach
"Beautiful, nice and quiet beach about 140 kms towards Newcastle from Sydney. Pristine water and calm beach perfect for swimming. Kids and family friendly. Picturesque landscape. Enough parking spots as this isnt very crowded place. Just when u about to reach the beach the road is bit bumpy but its not more than 300 meters. Totally worth visiting this place."
"Lovely scenery and the water is nice and clear plus apparently dog friendly. Parking isn't great so avoid on day's that it could be popular."
"My sister and I got here early on New Years Eve morning to make sure we got a good spot to set up camp for the night. We were joined later in the day by family and friends and then we put the tent up, set up our gas cooker and filled both of our Esky’s in anticipation of the night ahead. We dug a fire pit on the beach to contain our fire, and we’re treated to fireworks the entire length of the beach from across the water. What a way to see in the New Year!!! We finally called it a night at 6:15 am on the 1st January and retired to our tent after putting out our fire. Beautiful day and night"
"This is one of the prettiest spots in Lake Macquarie for relaxing and swimming! This place is as good as any tropical island I’ve ever been to! The entryway of rainforest really sets you in motion to be “a world away”. Be careful of the strong current but it’s fine in the shallows for families. Very busy at peak times! Go early for that secluded feeling."
