Reviews of Newcastle City Hall
"We used this fantastic venue as our wedding reception. Would highly recommend touring the venues Newcastle City Council has to offer. The team was great. We were able to view the venue multiple times, ask lots of questions, had a great food and alcohol tasting, they did wedding coordination few days before (organised parking, set up, pack down and communication with all our vendors) and the package includes tables, chairs, linen, cutlery, crockery, waitstaff and bar staff. Could recommend Newcastle City Hall enough. Huge thank you to the team, they were great."
"Beautiful old building that is well maintained. The acoustics are wonderful. The view from the stalls is very good."
"Beautiful old building and well looked after. We saw a concert there, luckily from the front row. The seating was well away from the stage. The chairs were uncomfortable. Acoustics was good. There is a bar for drinks and snacks."
"We came here for an event and had the best time. The staff are so friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced. We were seated in the top seated section and had a full view of the show. The bathrooms were very clean, and the seats were comfortable. Thanks so much!"
"Impressive architecture design, recently renovated makes the sandstone grab your attention. Interior as impressive. Spacious rooms, high ceiling makes for a great community & corporate meeting space. Transport nearby, limited parking. AccessAbility ok. Clean amenities. Restored street lamps adds the nostalgia."
