Welcome to Emerge Therapy Connections, a unique institution located at 82 Elder Street, Lambton, Australia. As an establishment dedicated to health and well-being, we aim to provide a space for individuals to connect with processes that will support, enrich, and embrace life.

Founded in 2014 by Amanda Watts and Nicole Walmsley, Emerge Therapy Connections is driven by a shared love for the arts and nature, as well as a passion for helping people. We are registered providers of focused psychological services under Medicare and accredited counselors for NSW Victims Services. Additionally, we pride ourselves on being inclusive and welcoming to members of LGBTQIA communities.

With over 30 years of professional counseling experience, both Amanda and Nicole have worked in various settings, including Community Mental Health, University Counseling, Sexual Assault, Chronic Health, Aged Care, Child and Family Services, Teaching, and supervisory positions. This wealth of experience allows us to understand the complexity of life and the context in which problems arise.

At Emerge, our focus is on you and your unique experience. We acknowledge the influence of social, cultural, and political power relations, as well as injustices that may manifest in relationships and institutions. Our practice is informed by a range of evidence-based counseling approaches, such as Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic/body work, creative therapies, trauma-informed research, and more.

We invite you to connect to your senses for grounding, restoring, and healing. Through movement, creativity, and exploration, we aim to help you discover what supports you in your life.
