"This school was the worst possible fit for our ASD child."

"My husband and I have nothing but admiration for all the staff at Macquarie College be it academic and non-academic for the last almost 3 yrs. We are not Christians and well aware of the school's religious-based educational program, which we respect and never made to feel uncomfortable at any point, the respect does go both ways. Our priority is that our child gets the support & aid from the MC family to nurture the core moral values that we try to instill from home at this primary age (whether it is based upon reasoning & conscience, or faith). And we'd like to think if our son can build this as a solid foundation, the academic side will flourish. To quote "having knowledge without good manners is like having a fire without fuel, and that having manners without knowledge is like having a body without a soul". Thank you for helping our children/future generation grow in a safe, respectful and happy environment. Hats off to all of you in such honorable but hardworking profession, we just don't say thank you enough."

"School gives no extension work, teachers don't know how to control their classes and lots of time is wasted."

"Really offensive Chapel program which showed young children ‘adult’ websites with the motto ‘life is short have an affair’, claimed society will collapse within three generations if ‘strict prenuptial chastity is not adhered to’ and said divorce was part of the ‘tsunami of sin’ in today’s society. Heavy end of the world catastrophising and telling children they are either ‘with Jesus or Satan’. Highly traumatising and inappropriate for children as young as 11. EDIT: Unsure as to why Macquarie College is calling this ‘mis-information’ when it is exactly what was said and the number of upvotes would attest to this."

"I spent all my schooling years at this school. The current direction they are headed in with the new Leadership is on a downward spiral. They only push their toxic "Christian" agenda, and not freely develop the new future minds of our children. My brother was interested in sending his kid there who has mild Autism, but on the open day they didn't feel welcome when bringing up how they would accommodate a disability."
